Bright purples of sour blueberries, forest fruits and briary. Crunchy and fresh, this is a bright and juicy wine with some serious undertones! A touch of green strawberry, soft tannin profile with a juicy, clean palate, the lighter alcohol of 11.5 keeps it fresh and long lasting.

Carignan (100%) from the Ebenezer subregion in the Northern Barossa from the Hoffman family vineyards, the ferment took about 10 days to finish and was 30% whole bunch fermented in open stainless-steel tanks with minimal punch downs, treated like a carbonic fermentation as to not extract hard tannins that Carignan present. Pressed to an old mixed oak Foudre (1100L) for 14 months, after the elevage in oak it was racked clean from lees and then bottled. A small amount of sulfur just before bottling.
Style: Light to medium bodied, dry red wine.
Vineyard: Hoffman family vineyards, Ebenezer, Barossa Valley, SA
Best with: Duck breast jerky and some crusty bread
Drink: Now or hold onto it for up to 5 years.
